Sarah is the owner and solo physical therapist of Core Connection Physical Therapy. Her passion for pelvic floor therapy began while in school. She realized how uncomfortable most people are talking about these symptoms, including urinary leakage, bowel issues, and pelvic pain. Sarah’s down to earth personality has a way of making anyone feel comfortable, especially when talking about such personal issues; therefore, she felt a calling to be involved in this field. Her goal with Core Connection Physical therapy is to help give people hope and spread awareness to let them know these are symptoms that are treatable without expensive equipment or surgery. She also wanted to create a safe, personal space with one on one care to promote healing for both men and women and give them a true therapeutic experience for their pelvic floor and orthopaedic needs.
Sarah has lived in St Augustine for 11 years, and first moved here to attend the University of St Augustine, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is originally from southeast Virginia and received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from James Madison University, and her Master’s degree in Exercise Science & Wellness from Old Dominion University. She has been practicing physical therapy since 2016 and earned her Manual Therapy Certification in 2017.
She is a wife and mother of two beautiful girls who she loves to spend time with. You will often find her out and about with her family at the beach or the pool. In her alone time, Sarah loves to workout, play tennis, attend church & bible study groups, walk on the beach, get a pedicure, eat at local restaurants, go to the movies, and much more. She loves living in St Augustine and loves being able to contribute her services to the community in her own way.
